Many people choose to work at sea because they love the ocean, they love the hours, and they can’t imagine being in an office.

New Zealand has a reputation for producing high quality, safe and nutritious seafood, most of which is processed on land. It takes a range of skills to get it to market, meaning there are a variety of rewarding career opportunities.

You could start out fileting fish or packing, and with hard work you could land yourself a management position in one of our world-class seafood processing plants.
